I'm pretty much a *shrug* when it comes to computerized gore.

But then, could you get a Conan (or Elric, or Cormac or whatever) feel if you couldn't slay so many opponents that you have to literally struggle to move, pushing through the mounds of severed limbs and congealing blood?

Actually, you probably could.

Or you could go the other way, with retro smell-o-vision!

this is misinformation. Why would they show decapitations in E3 if they were not in game?

I am thinking profits for Funcom...M rating eliminates people under 18. They have a hit on their hands, they know it, they are going to take profits and eliminate the M rating. At least that is my prediction.

honestly, they should make servers that make that able, and just mark that as the game experience changing during online play thing, I wanna cut some heads off of a thinking opponent, and my will be done!

it really is a shame about the M rating being removed. According to a bunch of posts at the AoC forums, this was removed from pvp only, not pve. So, you can still lop off the heads of whatever, as long as its not a player.

Good enough for me. Although fatality moves (maybe if you kill the same person 3 times within a time limit?) would be really great.

Guy who wrote the article already apologized for erroneous information. He sounded to me like the least likely person to have a good idea of what's going to be in this game. No one from Funcom has said they are removing the M-rating, from pvp or pve. This is all a rumor, I'm not really giving it any credibility at all.
