Drinking in AoC heals you?

Was just reading a thread on the AoC forum and it gave me a thought. What if "booze" healed you in AoC? Just seems Conan'ish to me.. such as after a long and terrible fight you sit back with some bud's and drink a bottle of Hyboria's Finest and let it regenerate you faster. It could be done in such a way as WoW's eating/drinking, so you can't really do it during combat. But there would be a risk to drinking and trying to heal yourself that way, you can get drunk. haha. It's sort of like.. numming the pain.

Thoughts?

Thats a good idea, would give a reason to drinking other than... "socializing"

Good Idea. I like when games find a reason for you to heal besides the usual medikit and such. The painkillers in Max Payne for example are great, they really fit in with the gritty story.

Plus, any excuse to drink is great

No kidding... who wants to socialize? I haven't left my basement for 2 months, so uhh "healing" would be a good way for me to convince myself that drinking is indeed good

I love this, wish it is the same in real life,

hurt your arm in an exercise? no problem, drink a beer

hurt your ankle while playing football? drink a beer

broke your legs in an accident? drink more beer

feeling down about your life? drink more beer (oh wait, it actually does help in real life)

Got cancer? hmm.... need vodka for that or a whole keg of beer

life would be some much better

I like this idea. In fact, I like even better the idea that maybe popping healing pots would have a drawback so you are cautious when using alchemical skills. Every time you drink one to heal (outside of a bar) you see double for 10 seconds or something like that, or maybe you don't walk in the direction that you push. Would make things fun I think.
