A few of us have attempted to play the game but have failed. I'm thinking about checking it out again because they just released Pt. 1 (of 3) of their Revelations expansion. The ships look badass, and the direction they're taking the game really interests me. If you end up sticking with it I may join you.....always better to play with friends than to mill around on your own.

Played it for about 2 months before I uninstalled. My account is still there I'm sure, but...I guess it's the real time training that throws me off of it. Takes too long to skill up on some skills.
Mining ALL DAY is boring, and it's tough to PvP since most people have been playing forever and have uber skills and weaponry in comparison to yours. And you seem to NEVER be able to catch up in skills to those that have been playing a long time either. ![]() |

It was an interesting game. I think it could have great potential since I liked how massive the universe was. The real time training.. is good.. and bad, depending. It's good if you don't have much time to play, such as only a couple hours per week since your character will keep advancing providing you log in every now and then and pick a skill to train. The bad part of it.. is if you have alot of time to play. You can't make your skills go faster besides that of just picking other stats/skills to lower the training time, but still for the big skills it takes quite some time. I managed to get a mining barge which was quite cool looking... I was strip mining asteroid fields in no time. I heard the game can be a ton of fun after you've played a while and your in a large company.. since from what I also hear is the battles are quite large and cool to watch.
If they made it so you raised your skills due to missions/kills then I'd probably play more, I just got tired of waiting lol. ![]()

I'm getting board already, after 4 hours, the training is becomeing worse for me now that the wow of the initial universe is gone it's just seems to be a good looking bore. GR I would love to have a friend in game but I don't know if I'll be on past this weekend.

I really liked the idea of EVE, but with the lack of an avatar or ground game it just doesn't appeal to me. If only SWG had gotten it right. Some parts of the space game were spot on while others *ugh* I dont' want to talk about it anymore.

i played it for a bit and it is fun, but ut needs comitment, and the real life training is quite annoying to, and PVP is not a good idea, with just about everyone out classing you and having your ship be destroyed when you die
if there would have been an other form of traing it would have been a real good game, but i don't know if it would work with an other way of skill training
