While I like a nicely rendered environment, it is rare in an MMO that a player has invested the $$ in a good PC to truely appreciate the artists efforts.

As we probably all know, one of the things you end up doing a few days after you install a new online game is crank the graphics levels way down so that you get a decent frame rate. Nothing sucks more than when you get into a good PvP fight and your engine lags because of some pretty sparklies and you unfreeze face down.

Now if Funcom hands me a 50% off coupon on a nice 512Mb video card (hell, make that two of them), then I might applaud all the work on the graphics. As it stands, I hope they invest a good portion of their time in the substance and depth of the game, not the visuals.
