Just saw this one and haven't seen it posted yet. Shows a giant loot bag at about 4:09...which I'm not apposed to. It screams "Hey, there's something in this bag for you...stupid" but I do hope they fix the giant ! to denote quests now.

DX10 has been a looooong time coming. DX9 was released in Dec 2002.

Question... what role does the shield play in the game is it like WoW just for more stats to favor your odds? Or u can interact with it like in oblivion where if lift your shield the amount of damage you take is greatly reduced?....in all the videos I seen I have never seen the toon using his shield so im guessing just stats and of course it looks cool

another question...I have a Dell XPS laptop 1g RAM NVIDIA 6800 ultra with 256 , and Intel centrino u think this computer wont be able to handle DX10?

You can block with your shield, but it's automated and based on a percentage. You can't manually block/dodge/parry for the most part because of latency.

For DX10 you need a DX10 video card and Windows Vista. I don't want to sound like a jerk but your pc will have a hard time keeping a good framerate and good gfx for AoC. Ideally you should upgrade once dx10 video cards prices drop to around 200-300$.

Yeah, after seeing that, I think I'm going to wait on getting another comp until I can run AoC at uber leet settings. Very lush environments painted with the enemies blood FTW!
