All of their trailers and movies are of in game footage. Nothing is cinematic, everything you see is in game.

Its like we are getting hyped up about some fancy cinematic trailer like the people at Warhammer are.. Or WoW even, that burning crusade video...

What you see, is what you get with AoC....

I can honestly say, i dont see many people playing AoC and then saying
"Gee this isnt what i was expecting"

But hell, i could be wrong... I'v been wrong before... ... ... i think:P

Maybe there are some features that they wish to remain secrect, this is a next gen mmo and why give other games ideas for features.

the reason why vanguard was hyped so much was because the devs were calling it revolutionary and were promising many things. it wasnt hyped because of the videos. then when people got to beta, like me, a lot realized the game was just EQ2.5. we will soon see if the devs at AoC can deliver on what they promised

I think instaed of killing wow, it will attract a community with more mature players. I think AoC and WoW will be aimed at COMEPLETELY different groups of people. ( I definately don't want some of the WoW trolls to come over here, lol, they really can ruin the gameplay)

I agree with Grall.

AoC will have ALOT more gore and mature content than WoW does.
Not only that, but AoC seems to be a much more complex game than WoW, who is pretty easy and straight forward. I'm think about Spell Weave, that's gonna be awesome.

Also about guild castle and town, the whole world PvP will be amazing too, some of it will be instanced but still not all of it like WoW, into which I believe, people are getting tired of.

Ya.. I just like PvP to have a meaning to it, besides just getting scores and such. I think AoC is going the right direction and hopefully will have plenty of longevity for us.

oh god WoW Players (err X-WoW Player me) talk about the imaturity in that game, played it for about 3 months then i got bored... i wanst really counting on playing it for a long time anyway. but AoC omgash! that is so freakin kewl! but if AoC became a wow killer and all the babies from WoW comes into the game,

Agreed. I hope we can get some of the "hardcore" PvPers out there in the guild to band together and create some really neat synergy between the members.
