The rumor is that it will be at the end of the month, but its just a rumor so far. Lets hope we hear a confirmation soon.

From the looks of the new video, it looks very polished for a pre-beta game. So I think they are doing much more thourough in house testing before it goes to open beta. Which then I think it will be mostly Stress testing the servers and such.

Funcom seems to be taking a different approach to their release than most other MMO's. Lets hope it makes for a better game

I think they are trying to get every kink or gap before risking to release it to the public eye. Remember this is suppose to be a WOW killer.

prolly dont want the same heat as they have gotten..

I don't think any one game can kill a game that has close to 7 million people, unfortunately.

AoC can beat em all! I'v never anticipated a game as much as i have with AoC. Even WoW, sure i enjoyed it while i played it for a while. But i wasnt anticipating, I was more like, just waiting to see what it offered.

AoC, will be god! I cant wait to start seeing the official trailer they will release on TV. Im gonna jump up and start screaming Hallelujah! My dad and sis are gonna think i been miraculously cured by god or something! And im gonna yell, "Even better! AoC is HERE!"

there is probably more truth to this than most would think. pre-beta, this game was so hyped by everybody and everyone expected beta to be perfect. well...everyone knows the story from here...
