In 2008, characters in EVE will be shipbound no more!

You could actually play EVE with any other MMO, because you only have to log on to advance your character every now and then. I would probably still be playing it for something to do, but I don't want to take a couple months to get PvP worthy... if there's a faster way to get pvp worthy.. then sure I'd probably hop on for a little while.

Just remember that the game takes quite some time to actually get somewhere in it.. character-wise. Since your characters skills are learned via time. It would take you at least a few months to get something worthwhile to take into a corp vs corp war. Also, it takes alot of money to get that.. lol.

Imagine if they made ships so you could walk around on them. Specially those HUGE ones, have it all detailed and such...

woot, that's super cool! But unless there is character combat or some other great purpose for the characters, I look at this as nothing but fluff, good fluff tho .
