I have been hanging out in (I believe the name is) the Uedama System (0.5) / Caldari State. Looking at possibly starting to run in and out of the neighboring 0.4 system, despite seeing warning signs of being shot on sight by some Corp. lol.

I have been in there only once in a shuttle, no one was in the zone. I will make several more trips via shuttle there to determine the best times with the lowest activity in it for some ninja mining of (Hopefully) rarer minerals.

I'm going in and out of .4 with my raven right now. Some of my missions are in .4 sec. So far I haven't seen anyone but the occasional shuttle.

Well, I'm just being careful. I never forgot back the year ago when I played and decided to get brave and go into .4 for the first time.

I was in and out of there for over a week, varying up my time frames to keep any potential Pirates guessing. As you said, I only saw the occasional shuttle, or ship passing through.

All it took was one day easing up my guard, and BAM! 2 Pirates waiting at my warp into the system, and bye bye Ferox. That sucked, and I don't want to repeat it.

Well, if we ever want to be a corp that actually I guess you can say.. owns a few systems, we'll probably want to join up with an existing corp. Since afterall, I thought that was one of the highpoints of EVE, the corporate politics, corporate borders, etc.

If we started a corporation, how long do you think it would take us to actually "claim" an area? I'm thinking quite some time lol.

Well the corp I'm in now is really friendly. But like I said they are mostly EU players and so the times are a bit off. They are on more than you might think but the corp's main time where the most players on at one time is normally mid day here in the states. Anyway, our CEO flys a Hulk for mining and has a couple PvP ships she uses to guard our mining barges (dual accounts). Some others fly around in Battleships. They are looking to move in to low sec eventually but right now we don't have the numbers to do it. I'm could talk to them and see if they would allow LOS memebers to join in to make the push to low sec.

Of course if you are looking bigger just let me know. I'll join an even bigger corp if you all want to get it set up.

To create a corp from scratch and get a POS ourselves.....Would take awhile unless we just get some big numbers. Best bet to get an area is join an existing corp. There are a lot of small corps like my current one that have some vet players but just don't have the numbers to make the push.

I DO have a second account that is inactive. I use to mine with one, and protect with the other. But I'll be damned if I can even figure out how to get that accoutn back.

It was actually my ex-wife's account. I just took over when she lost interest. Only reason I have this one back is because they sent me an e-mail about coming back. She would of probably recieved a similar e-mail about hers. If I could only remember the characters name, I could probably get it back. I'll have to think on it awhile.

I've heard that BoB (Band of Brothers) is a gigantic corporation that has alot of political power already established. From my understanding, is that they own quite a large portion of the low security systems.

Yeah. They are also currently involved in one hell of a war. SEVERAL Corps. got together to rise up against them.
