Question:

I hear that you are able to look at your character sheet and change what that character is learning outside of the game. Is this so?

Would be nice if I could check up on my character on my Mobile.

tbh stain space is quite a busy place atm im in AAA and we seam to be fighting just about every man and his dog. this week ive been in fights with req iac cva se bob terechos roadkill hopefully should be a good weekend for it

Is it costing an arm and a leg?

I've been doing the bidding wars between other buyers out there, making some fat money. Woke up and already made a few million doing nothing. The only big thing I hate.. is 'some' high demand stuff there are bidding wars of 0.1isk+ every 5 minutes. So you basically need to sit there and update it every now and then.

I've been doing a lot of reading on corporate warfare, it seems like not a whole lot of people use capital ships for pvp, but usually around the size of cruisers and such.. due to it not being that expensive to replace. Have you noticed people using less capital ships for pvp?

well it depends if ur hitting a well defended pos with webbers and scramblers and guns AKA a deathstar u gotta use the dreads but u will have a bs and support class fleet lockign the system down if the systems got a cyno jammer ur bs fleets are gonna need logistics to keep them tanked from the pos guns

there not used as much as they could be but carriers seam to get alot of use
load it up with ya pvp ships then jump to enemy system all they fully equipped ready for fighting
if i had nt of been at work on monday morning i would of been using my dread on a op.

pvp as so many variables in eve its just picking the right set up for the right fight and choosing your fights carefully i dont thinks theres any inmbalanced set up because theres always somethig to beat it

as narud said depends what the mission objective is. if saying going after an outpost i would expect a full cap fleet with bs support maybe even a titan.

for roaming and just annoying the enemy tech1 and tech2 cruisers are awesome. maybe one day black ops ships can fill that role a bit to just right now they have odd bonus's.

What's your ship have for stuff? Weapons? Shields? Etc?

I'm just using a simple Iteron, just has 2 Type-D Altered SS Overdrive Injectors to increase the speed to about 214ms, I guess that's sort of fast for being cheap... and using a cargo ship. Still have about 2300 or so for cargo space, which is fine for what I'm doing at the moment.

[edit] I traded in my Brutix Battlecruiser so I can use that to fund my little business I have going, on the bright side I could always cancel my orders and just re-buy it with ease.. so no biggie.

I tried the free trial of Eve Online. It was pretty fun, but really overwhelming, and there was a lot to learn. Reading this thread sort of solidifies my opinion :-p

Just do what I did, I skipped the tutorial and just started right clicking everything until I found my way lol.

Haha, that could work. Still, I'd rather have someone just hold my hand through the first few hours of the game :-p
