Warhammer: Online

If you have the recent PC Gamer, you will see a whole article on Warhammer Online. I read it, and whats my reaction to it? SWWWEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!!! The game looks awesome, its graphic is as good as WoW right now depite the fact that it is not even if beta yet (which is saying some thing) Although so far it looks a bit WoW-ish.

There will be six races in the game world in two different factions:

the Alliance:
Empire(human)
Dwarf
High Elf

the Chaos:
Chaos
Dark Elves
Orcs

A little disappointment though, Bretonnia, Skaven, Vampire Counts, and Tomb King are not in the game. Hopefully we will see them in the future expansions. Another disappointment, the game so far looks a bit too WoW-ish, not necessarily a bad thing, I am hoping the WO will be a more or less different game.

another problem, the game will be released in Jan 2007, probably only a few weeks after AoC, right now I have no idea which one I will choose to play. Oh Lord guide me.

I've played Warhammer (pnp) for several years, it's a pretty brutal game. I'm surprised they are not including Bretonnia, since it's a major factor in the Warhammer world. I'll just have to wait and see what it's like.

I have been play warhammer for years I am looking forwards to this I have see the Trailers for warhammer online it look like it is going to be really good I got the Trailers from

Everytime I see that game I get depressed that it isn't 40K.

40k is a much better game than normal warhammer i do have a space marine army myself and have dawn of war and expansion the dawn of war game is really brutal as you see people get ripped in half but it still should be a pretty decent game in all

by the way all the races are in the game but u can only play as the ones desertfox stated

Well another big alliance race would be the Gnomes.. but no one plays Gnomes, at least when we played PnP WFRP.

Haha the gnomes, what the hell can u do with them heh?

Te best best usues I see for them are
1) baits to lure the orcs away from ur main forces
2) baits to lure the Chaos away from ur main forces
3) baits to lure the Dark elves away from ur main forces
4) baits to lure the skavens away from ur main forces
And last but not least
MEAT SHIELDS!!!!
