With the lack of stealth in the game, there will not be a "rogue" class, only melee DPS.

i was playing a goblin shaman at comic con and it was a fun class i would probably give a shot. Having to cast offensive spells so you could increase the power of the next heal you throw was an interesting twist to the typical healer type. you actually feel like your contributing in a couple of ways as opposed to just keeping people alive.

Yep, I think that's what makes the "healers" in WAR attractive. Hopefully it will contribute to them being played more, thus giving us plenty of healers to go with all the chosen. ... LOL

it also makes sense to make casters more offensive being that it is possible to gain xp in pvp, therefore if there was a straight healer class, it wouldn't be possible for them to level up through pvp. unless healing gave xp, which would be ridiculous.
