[WAR] Servers

ive seen one of these for AoC but what about WAR?

Does anyone know if it will be restricted by regions?
i live in the uk and it would suck if i couldnt play with you guys.

I believe I heard them say in a QnA that they will not restrict you from playing on any server. But don't quote me on that and they could change that by launch.

True in beta they won't restrict but at release I don't know.

if yer in europe and you buy the euro version, you won't be able to see the US servers and vice versa, but if you buy the US version and you live in europe, you'll get the US versions, they won't restrict IP.

plus is the method that Mythic has been using with DAoC, and they aren't stupid enough to restrict players from other countries to play in US, they know how much euro/us/aussy players have fun and add activity to a single server.

heck some of the players I had the most fun were from holland and aussy.

I think I've read the same thing the other guys have. I remember reading you have to buy the US version, and you'll have the US servers available to play on. I have a bunch of friends in Dublin looking forward to playing WAR, so hopefully it's just a matter of grabbing the US version.

Yeah, i'll have to get the us version then, reckon you'll have to have a us billing address to play? you do for wow...as me and anolade found out the other day

All true. This is pretty common in MMOs and billing with them. You have to get the US version and be billed to a US address. I did this for a friend in Italy with SWG and COH.
