I hate when an rvr game like DAoC forced me into mind-numbing amounts of pve in order to be able to enjoy pvp. When ToA first came out it was beyond painful ... scrolls, artifacts and MLs ... I still cringe. It took them a long time to tone a lot of that stuff down.

WoW was worse in some ways with how much raiding you had to do to complete a decent set of gear but it seemed like less of a nuisance in a pve game than it was for a pvp game. The pvp sucked anyway so I didn't suffer long. I saw that being a 'game killer' pretty early on.

I hate it when players are given too much.... if it's easy there isn't the same sense of accomplishment. Give me a bit of a grind to make success enjoyable.

Asheron's call I had seasons. Every few months the entire outside environment changed. Snow in the winter, fall colors on the leaves, flowers in the spring, etc. It was pretty well done considering the vintage of the game.

Heh, you would never have played EQ as a caster in the old days. First toon was a wizard. Nuke down a couple of mobs, go find a relatively safe spot to meditate (mana recovery required sitting which also originally required you to see nothing but your spell book pages prior to level 31, you could not even see the environment around you), then go fix a sandwich, grab some chips, watch some T.V., come back 6 minutes later to find mana bar almost full. Mana recovery/H.P. recovery were both horrible. Part of their mechanic to slow down progress to keep those subscription fees rolling in every month. Don't even get me started on hell levels....
/agree.... I always hated how long it took to level up from level 60-65!

I hate... low level aggro. If there is no chance of it killing me, it should be running the other way. EQ2 did a good job on low level aggro, I guess WOW was okay too.
in daoc, if the mob was grey, no matter what its faction was to you, it never attacked you unless you attackd it first. i hop this carries over to war

Final Fantasy XI was just horrible in general. Was good if you wanted a HUGE timesink, but other than that it was just annoying because every single thing took so long. I'll go ahead and say that's what I hate in a game. When you can hardly get anything accomplished unless you play for multiple, consecutive hours.

If this happens the mages suck. they need to be gkicked immediately. A shadow Priest I see it as a support dps class. The mana/hp regen from vamp embra/touch = ownage.

Paladins were only awesome in specific situations @ healing. For instance a boss fight that was short and sweet with not much Chance of a KO or if a pally got behind on heals.
Priest are still useful in healing Power world shield,Renew, and the new bouncy heal *cant remeber the name*

yeah the druid tank thing i hated it when they pulled that so i was like fine tank and i would sit their and let them wipe and be like see why druids dont tank. followed by making cheesecake be back in a bit ( only tank in the raid guild mwahaha) paladin tanks sucked ass we used them a healers priest as healer and support dps and druid as healers or dps druid is a NOT A TANK. hunters we useful to me and rogues but druid annoyed me when they wanted to tank. also shammy love u guys and locks it KNEW how to use their pet right we had one lock he kept his void out and when i hit 15% health he use his void to pull the aggro so i can be healed then let it go and i would take the aggro back. thats a good lock for ya.

heh, RO got a pretty slow rec if your are not a swordman or mage :O the only way to cut that recovery is ,to use potions.
Im sure they let the Player of WAR fast recover, PvP fast recovery PvE slow recovery, they dont want you to get killed by anyone getting in your way while
recover :>
