I can't tell you how many monsters I trained in FFXI to screw over gold farmers or how many hours I ganked farmers in Tyr's Hand on WoW. Never got a chance to do anything about it in GW and never noticed them in DAoC.

For instance, being invited to a group for an instance which comprised of a Mage, Warlock, and two Rogues. Upon asking "Who's tanking?" I was answered "You." When I asked "And then who's healing?" I was told, "Man, you're a Druid. You'll do both." Yes. Yes, I'll just go and pull some of those Dire Bear form heals out of my ass now and we'll all be happy. And another time I asked to join an instance and the leader asked me what spec I was. Fair enough. I told him feral. He then invites me and announces to his group that they now have a healer. And I don't have time to get the few pieces of healing gear I have handy from storage because we're all at the entrance and the others just can't wait five minutes for me to go get it. And then they complain when I run out of mana after two fights because I have to heal twice for what a decent Priest could do with one.

My problem isn't that hybrids weren't some do it all wonders, I realize that they're only suited for what they spec.
But if you can have a tank that's better than a warrior one second, then respecc and regear and have a nice healer the next, somethings wrong in my opinion. I know one could raise the point "what about warriors rolling fury and then out damaging rouges?" That's also wrong! One should never be able to specc a class to a point where it looses all semblance with what it was supposed to be. Now if there was some way that game devs could balance all of these different builds and enable each one to fill it's own niche, that would be great. Fact of the matter is when you have a hybrid jumble like WoW, niches start to become contested, which means that classes are forced into roles that, although they've always been able to specc, we're not intended to be main roles.

A game engine so un-optimized, that my computer lags to hell and back and also a incomplete game. No end game content that is not broken is also a killer for me. I'm looking at you AoC!
