SPORE

For those of you that aren't familiar with SPORE is a simulation game created by Will Wright that allows players to control various life forms from the cellular to the galactic level. For further explanation on SPORE there are some youtube vids below.

The main reason I started this thread is they have announced SPORE for the Wii.
Discuss.

Personally I was pissed because it wouldn't be for the Wii, but i'm glad Will considered it and it got approved. Too bad it will be about Spring 08' before its release on the PC, not to mention the DS. I wonder if they will all be released simultaneously. It'll be worth the wait nonetheless.

Tons of customization and its not about spores, just named spore.

Well in essence it is. When a virus goes into stasis it forms a hard covering that keeps it from dying (even though it was never alive...what?) called a spore.
I know you start out as a bacteria, but meh bacteria virus close enough

SPORE gon be a good game. The part of the game that makes it interesting to me is probably the customization part, since you can create any living organism and make it mutated and have like 6 arms and 100 eyes or something lol.

I, for one, have been lookin forward to this game for a looooooong time. Used to be a game called E.V.O: Search for Eden for SNES, based around the same premise, except side scroller. Still an amazing game for those who are interested.

We watched them come from the depths but we couldn't see it 'till we looked in their eyes. Behind the mask the demon resides, the meat was stripped from their bones. WE DESTROY.
