In the developer commentary video I thought it was interesting when he said that the single player portion of the game would take from 10-15hrs to complete.

I also know that it is our choice if we want to go through it again or just skip it (after the single player is completed). But my question is do we have to finish the single player before we're able to play online together?

awesome demo. The beginning is all intersting, but nothing too new. A cool bit of info is that you can build a barracks in your player made villages that spawn NPCs to defend it. Not sure exactly how that works, but it clears up some things.

There's also a areas of the capital where you can thieve and murder and areas where players can participate in gang wars. Cool stuff.

from the new ign preview

The story will set players on a path to meet and eventually help save Conan and his kingdom, earning favor and entry into the world at level 20 or so. Of course, those that want nothing to do with single player can skip over the storyline, but at only 10-15 hours, it seems like a great way to start out a much larger MMO experience.

Looks like this will be a very good game, I liked how the player cities look more "life like" and organized, rather then the typical mess of structures you see in some other mmo's out there.

at first I was thininking it was a bad thing, but after playing a trial for SWG and seeing the absolute messes people create I can most certainly be happy with that decision.
