Serenity (Careful, I have a big mouth, might be spoilers)

We saw this movie last week. It kind off starts of weird, but once you understand what is going on, it gets pretty good. There is an "enhanced" girl that has been rescued by her brother and they are being smuggled on a pirate's space ship. The evil empire all the while wants her back. So this girl, River is her name, she is all mentally messed up and stuff. She seems all helpless - until she wigs out and then she is Dark Angel on meth, beating the living snot out of everyone standing within... well, everywhere. lol

I don't want to give too much away, but the movie is full of funny lines and moments. Not enough to ruin the movie and turn it into an all out comedy, but enough to make you turn up the sound so you don't miss anything.

I saw it, I thought it was actually pretty well done. I haven't really watched any of the episodes before, I think I saw 2 or so.. ever. Don't even know if I like the series or not, but I can say the movie is pretty good though.

Oh man. It was indeed a good movie. The "wild west" theme clicked in my head when I heard the mechanic say "Betwixed my nethers" (am i allowed to quote that? if not, i'll edit, or u can edit pls.)

i have seen the movie to, and i must say, its down rigth brilliant, just great and glorious, i am going to watch it again, later this weekend

Good movie, the history of the movie and its cast and the original series is really somethin. You should read up on it, it's really neat. I think it was Dragonfly?

Firefly. If you haven't seen the Firefly TV series, I highly, highly recommend it. Personally I think the series as a whole is far better than the movie, and I really love the movie.

My friend bought the movie and we sat down and watched it. He liked it so much he went out and bought Firefly on dvd...of course letting me borrow it. OMG...WHY WAS THIS CANCELED BEFORE IT'S TIME? Watching Firefly and then watching Serentity will make some of the events more powerful for you than viewing it without knowing about the characters. (So much lost potential)

Yeah, it's such a shame that Firefly got cancelled after 14 episodes. I can only imagine the great things that would have come from it had it remained on the air for a few years...

Yeah firefly was an awesome show. Serenity was an awesome movie as well. It is sad that the show got cancelled because the cast had such great chemistry together, and the show was just awesome in it's own right. I got a chance to see the cast of Serenity and Josh Whedon at Comic-Con last year, when they were plugging the movie. It was like an hour long panel with them just chopping it up on stage and crackin jokes. It was cool cause they were so chill, and just meshed well together. I hope they garner enough support to eventually work on Serenity/Firefly again.

I did the 14 episodes of Firefly and they are ok, but the movie is great...
