I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, but it's this 9/11 crap is piss poor. It shows how a guy with a camera, a bit of editing, and a script can get people to believe or consider whatever he says.
Check out the stuff in this thread 9/11 Conspiracy Debunked |

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but that video didn't really seem all that radical to me. It wasn't making any ridiculous claims.
Unfortunately, we won't know much about this until decades from now. You can say what you want, but many things are not discovered or disclosed until long from the date of the event. |

Oh, I really only watched about thirty minutes of the video and it did feature interviews with professionals as well as news clips. It was pretty well done in my opinion. I am in agreement with you about those Loose Change videos, but I don't know if this falls under that category.
I don't want to start an argument about this. I'm not going to blindly brush it off as bullshit without researching its claims, but videos of this type don't have a good reputation. |

This theory makes me want to go into a freakin rage. For this theory to be true, it'd take more than just the creative genius of George Bush, the man who "planned and engineered the events of 9/11" (ironic how everyone who supports these theories thinks he's a total DMF). You'd have to convince hundreds of American citizens that flying planes into buildings and killing thousands of FELLOW AMERICAN people was OK.
Yeah it's ok to explore theories, and keep an open mind. But 6 years later, when every credible source has provided an explanation for any questionable event, and the only people who are still making literature supporting the conspiracy theory are the anarchist college kids and folks that like to blame all their problems on the government, it's time to give up and accept defeat. Thanks for the link a_random_hero. Here's another one - http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...24953129565561

As far as I know this video makes no claim that President Bush or any branch of the government carried this out, but as I said, I only watched the first thirty minutes. But that's still apparently more than you guys did.
Such blind rage about it. About as much as the guys on the other side of the argument. ![]() |

I only watched a few minutes of the video because I've seen so many and they all have the same message.
Here's the thing I guess. For the common man, politics these days is a lot like religion. They are both based completely on faith. No one will ever know the whole truth. Most things we know are what we've read, seen on TV, or heard from other people. I wasn't there when the planes owned the trade towers, so I can't even say for sure that it really happened at all. You feel me? Are we really just losing soldiers over seas and not gaining any ground? Or is that what the 86% of liberal journalists that make up the American media want me to think because they want to see the republican party fail? Is 86% of the media really left wing? Who knows? That's what my world history professor told me, but he could be full of shit for all I know. The truths that we know are minuscule compared to the lies we've been told by whoever we chose to believe.

I dunno. I watched the entire thing, and a lot of the points made in the movie seemed reasonable. Of course, I studied demolitions in my college courses, and a LOT of what I saw in that video could NOT have been done simply by fires and the collapse. The thing to do with this video is watch it once; research the actual theories involved with the explosives, and then re-watch it.
I am not a conspiracy theorist by nature, but this video was able to prove to me (and again, this is all opinion) that: a) Fires weren't hot enough. In my demolitions class, we were taught the exact same thing described in the movie. The fires inside the building would have to have been double the heat, and it just isn't attainable without outside sources. And no, jet fuel alone cannot get the temperature that high. b) The puffs of smoke/concrete. Normal collapse of a building doesn't cause those puffs of air seen in the video. These are ONLY attained when outside sources of explosives are used to cause an implosion. Not to mention the fact they happened BEFORE the falling building made it to that certain section. The fact the building fell in 10 seconds or less also proves another point in the explosives that MAY have been used: c) Fall rate. The fall rate of the building doesn't make sense. It fell WAY too fast. Normal buildings will start off falling slowly, pick up a tiny bit of speed, then finally slow back down, almost to a stop. The WTC fell in 9-10 seconds. I don't know the time a normal building of that size would take to fall, but after watching the video, and doing a bit more research, the fall would have been 9-10x that rate. It was just too fast for it to fall without the lower levels being taken out first. There were many more reasonable points made in the video, not all I'd be able to list. Of course this is another conspiracy theory, but this actually has a backing to it. They are going around accusing everyone and their dog. They're laying facts out for you to consider, making this even more credible in my eyes. |
