I loved Dr. Seuss before I ever had a little one and she now has almost a whole library full of it but ...........I just don't get it.

These stories do not translate well to film at all and there's all kinds of necessary back fill and mismatched dialogue and retarded looking characters that look stupid as anything other than a cartoon drawing (not a prob with this impending film) etc.

I don't get trying to stretch them into something they aren't. But maybe I'm the only one?

Maybe I can explain a little bit about why I am exicted for it.

I got my BFA in Visual Effects focusing on Digital Lighting/Rendering/Compositing. From a purely technical/artistic standpoint, this film is INSANE looking. And I can't wait to see such amazing work on the big screen in full detail.

The animation does look incredible and has some good voice talent in the movie as well! I loved Dr. Suess when I was a kid so I will definitely go check this movie out

I enjoyed it. The animation was great, some of it looked almost real. It was actually more of a story-line movie than a comedy movie and I enjoyed it more than my 7 year old brother did. Unless you really love Dr. Seuss it's a renter imo.

I took my 3 children to go see this show. My son was laughing his head off. And all of them were sitting on the edge of there seats. I thought it was okay, I'd sit through it again with my kids. But woudn't go see it cause it looked interesting to me.
