I am a huge MMA fan as well. I followed the UFC for about the first 8 or 10 (but felt it got pretty boring when about all you saw was 20 min grappling sessions once the Gracie's started dominating around UFC 3 or so. I started following again around UFC 45 or so I think and have seen every single one since (we always have UFC parties at my house).
That being said, I am not sure about this movie...it looks like it may have some potential and I am sure i will go see it in the theater but I wasn't exactly wow'd by the trailer. |

You guys train at all? Everything I heard says redbelt is garbage, I had high hopes for this movie too. Man I am F%$KING pumped for the DREAM MW tourney on Tuesday!

Sakuraba has a card in that tourney yeah? I always like fighters like him, doesn't have all the talent in the world yet he will never and I mean never gives up.
As for training (funny you mention) I will start a work out new regiment tomorrow. I haven't done anything in quite a long time. So I'll be hurting for the next two weeks till I adjust. Once I get some strength back I was thinking about training with some of the Strike Force guys as they are set up here in San Jose. I used to work with one of their main promoters at a nightclub here, went to alot of training session's. Met Cung le a few times... Very nice, quiet dude that could kick a midget through a field goal from 50 yards out. A good crop fighters come out of this area. Looking forward to this summer.

I hear yeah, I haven't been able to train too much during the school year. This summer gonna get back into it the gym hardcore, got my eyes set on the 1st prize katana at NAGA.
Very cool that you can train with the guys in San Jose, place is a hot bed for mma. Cung looked great against Frank Shamrock, you could have met a future champion.
