My friends say it was extremely good (just what you expect from a Jackie chan/Jet lee team-up) and was wondering what everyone else who saw it think about it.

I heard it was light on the action which bummed out the people who critiqued considering how it has two of the most well known martial artist actors in the world
But they said the story was pretty good

Meh it not like it was completelt devoid of action. there were some good bits but it did not have as much as most martial arts movies. It was still awesome especially the jackie chan and the monk fight.

the fight sequences they did have were good. However when you're used to old school every scene, it was a touch light. I really liked it though. It was a fun watch.

I'm asian and i hated it.. LMAO.. i ain't even kidding.. Typical movie that I already knew the ending..that white kid.. just.. ugh.. didn't fit in.. just him being the main character and him saving the world.. gahh.. typical......

Did you like the part when Jet Li and Jackie Chan both took one look at the boy and started cracking up? LOL best part.

the movie had some good parts. Most of the movie was pretty stereotypical. I was expecting that tho... always have to in those East meets West movies.

mostly, the movie reminded me of a movie from the 80s. like golden child or some others... some of those movies can be very very CRUDE and offensive.

Overall, I would not pay see it again in the theater, but i thought it was kinda neat to see both Chan and Li together in one movie. are there any others like that?

j/k I felt exactly the same way, especially seeing as the last movie i saw that kid in, was some crappy disney super hero movie.. I wanted to throw up...

The story was incredibly lame and dull, there was no character development..
Like at the end of the movie, jackie chan and the kid are saying goodbye, and its suppose to be all sad or something?
I'm like, dude you were with him for like 5 minutes get over it and go the fuck home already... The chemistry just seemed incredibly fake..

The action was lame in my opinion, im tired of seeing wiring fighting crap. I mean if your gonna do wire fighting, make it look like its real fighting.. Why the fuck are people always floating around in all these fucking martial arts movies now a day? I mean i know they used it sometimes in older movies even, but its just getting really dull now...

We need better fight choreographers in these movies too.. The angles are shitty, sometimes i wonder what the hell i'm looking at some times, which i absolutely hate... I mean, there are old movies out there, with piss poor acting in it, but the fight scenes are top notch, bone crunching, action packed, thrill rides... Today they are just dull, typical and predictable.. You always know whats gonna happen... Its just lame >.<

and that is so true. thats why im not ever gonna watch any other asian movies again in theatres.. i'll wait til it hit the TV lololololol
