Wow, are you serious? This movie was AWFUL...the acting...awful...the lines for the actors...awful...the plot even...awful...even the cinematography was pretty bad in my opinion. No climax whatsoever and the end was supposed to leave you feeling "on edge" and like "oh no, whats going to happen now" but to be honest, i really didn't care at ALL.
The whole theater was laughing during the movie. |

I liked Lady in the Water and Signs... As much as I cannot stand his other films, for some odd reason every time he releases another... I feel I have to watch it.. I guess on the chance it will be good or the chance I will get a good laugh out of it.

I've gone to every one of his movies only to leave shaking my head wondering why the hell I bothered again. I've finally reached the point where I'm done hoping that "maybe this one will be good."

I loved signs, because i love aliens, and i liked how it was kind of a mystery/scary movie instead of a, OMG ALIENS PEW PEW, kinda horror. although, the ending could have been better, but all in all, a good movie.
But i gotta say, the happening, has to to be the worst excuse for a movie ever, it had almost no plot, no character development, terrible acting, terrible casting, i almost left after about 30 minutes. The only reason i didn't come back 5 minutes later with a gas can and a lighter to burn the theater down was, the film wasnt working for the first 5 minutes, so i got a free movie pass .Anyone who is even thinking of seeing this, just stay home and hit your face with a hammer, you well have a much better time then seeing this sorry excuse for entertainment. and you'll save 12 bucks. (P.S, i laughed my ass off when the guy got run over by the lawn mower, and when that one guy went all emo on the street, they should have labeled it a comedy instead of a horror.) |
