I've been looking at http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...Amp?sku=519634
It's gotten good reviews, and it's quite cheap. I dunno if this is something I should be looking at or not. |

I got some replies from my post and people said that the squire and ibanez packs are "good" (everything is relative
) starter packs.

Go for the starter pack, if bass clicks with you then all good - if not, then i'm sure there will be decent resale for others like yourself who want to start up.
Once you start getting good, you can aim toward a new bass - once you get hold of this, not only will it sound and play better but i've always found that a new instrument is a great source of inspiration... Keep a note of things you learn as you go along, maybe even make a few quick recordings - from time to time review these and realise your progression, it always helped me to see in black and white how far i'd come. Keep rocking! ![]()

Just make sure that you get a tuner or that one comes in the package.

Cough Ibanez Cough
Epiphone is good too, though I haven't seen many deals. That squire pack comes with a ton of stuff so thatd be great to start with I miss my bass back home, actually I need a new one the neck is broke on mine. |
