I hate talking about music. There's something about it that is more subjective than any other medium, and it usually just get me frustrated or annoyed.

Also, people who talk about music often just are desperately trying to come across as cool. It's not as if Listening to cool music makes you cool or anything.

I don't really like criticizing music that others listen to, unless its being blared in public, which is always a problem in my dormitory. Music is a personal thing, but most people think other have shitty taste.

The only time I criticize someone's musical tastes is when it's ONLY stuff on the radio, since that's usually just close minded. To me, it seems like you're being fed your artistic tastes and life by people sitting in a corporate office somewhere.

Plus these are the types of people who usually make fun of anything different (like metal for example)
