Favorite Beatles Songs
Everybody loves the Beatles. What's your favorite song?
I've been listening to the White Album recently, so at the moment I really like Helter Skelter, Sexy Sadie, Yer Blues Edit: We're not looking for best, we're looking for favorite. Last edited by Obdazen; 05-03-2007 at 04:55 AM. |

I heard the most hilarious because its so horrible song by john Lennon today.
It was played on the Stern Show and is a john Lennon and Yoko Ono collabboration entitloed "woman is the nigger of the world". worst song ever. ruined my perception of Lennon forever

Though not the turn of phrase I would have used to get my point across I understand the meaning.
Woman is the N of the World John Lennon Woman is the n of the world Yes she is...think about it Woman is the n of the world Think about it...do something about it We make her paint her face and dance If she won’t be slave, we say that she don’t love us If she’s real, we say she’s trying to be a man While putting her down we pretend that she is above us Woman is the n of the world...yes she is If you don’t belive me take a look to the one you’re with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Ah yeah...better screem about it We make her bear and raise our children And then we leave her flat for being a fat old mother then We tell her home is the only place she would be Then we complain that she’s too unworldly to be our friend Woman is the n of the world...yes she is If you don’t belive me take a look to the one you’re with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Yeah (think about it) We insult her everyday on TV And wonder why she has no guts or confidence When she’s young we kill her will to be free While telling her not to be so smart we put her down for being so dumb Woman is the n of the world...yes she is If you don’t belive me take a look to the one you’re with Woman is the slaves of the slaves Yes she is...if you belive me, you better screem about it. We make her paint her face and dance We make her paint her face and dance We make her paint her face and dance I censored the lyrics myself out of choice I just don't really like that word. Apparently it was a phrase Ono coined after an interview with a magazine. This was when people wanted to stand out and this really got her out there. It was banned from regular radio when it was released because of word choice. Theres a small wiki article about the song if anyones interested. I also liked Shes Leaving Home |

I've always been a fan of the second side of Abbey Road. The songs are all linked and kind of run together into one enjoyable listening experience.
So many songs though, it's kind of hard to choose. I have a full collection (every CD), so it's hard for me to choose just one. Its easier for me to give you general groups of songs: second side of Abbey Road is one of my favorites, second side of Revolver, first album of the White Album, various songs from Help! through Rubber Soul also get high marks from me. Too hard for me to narrow it down. ![]()
