I have about 1000 LPs/CDs, most of it is punk/hardcore/metal.
Of course, now that I am aging, I mostly listen to folk, soft rock, and Christian music (screw that). A couple of songs I cannot get out of my head these days are from an older Interpol album. Give these vids a look see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaDw4CAcXVE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_OcR0fbf6g Sisy

BTW, Earcar, I saw Nirvana when they toured Bleach and Nevermind as well as AudioSlave when they were good and called Soundgarden
Sometimes it pays to be a geezer. At 40, I still try and see every show that appeals to me. In the last couple months I have seen Tool, New Pornographers and Alexisonfire. All fantastic shows. Too bad Vancouver is a 4-5 hour drive away, otherwise I would be at 2 shows a week like I used to. Recorded music is great and all, but if you don't go see your favourite bands live when the opportunity arises then you are missing out on so much. You are missing out on the true talent most artists have and missing out on busting the posers who rely on cheap engineering/production theatrics to make them sound good (think most pop music). Sisy

You got to see Nirvana? Wow. Kurt Cobain died the year I was born, and we have the same birthday
I really want to see Audioslave (did they break up?). I saw Aerosmith in concert, so I'm trying to see all that I can. Oh, and I saw Dane Cool live. So f***ing funnny. Can't believe more people don't like Nine Inch Nails.Really weird NIN video: [y] http://youtube.com/watch?v=6lzb-jYZrLE [/y] How do you do the in post youtube? The best concert i have been to was lalapalooza..
The one i will never forget was a megadeth concert and they have this unknown band (at the time) opening for them .. Stone Temple Pilots.. I liked STP better than the megadeth show.
