I have yet to get their music....how would you rate them compared to Primal Fear? Good? Bad? Better? Hmm...

on topic: i do rather enjoy what they do. but like Promethium said, some of their stuff is better than some of their others.

I hate them personally I just think they sound awful... They just have no harmony its just volume and over saturation for me... If was going to listen to heavy guitar I would always choose Lynyrd Skynyrd, 3 lead guitars playing harmony is as good as it gets IMO before going way overboard

as far as "heavy metal" i dunno if you can consider this, its more death metally but as far as serious thrashing music (thrashing this order pigs that is...wait no...pigs are cool they give me bacon.... order uhh....scum...yeah

i think it really depends on what type of metal you like...

for the old school power metal types id say Firewind is the current champ
Gus G. is the lead

for the melodic death metal types id say Arch Enemy is your winner
Michael Amott is the lead(also his bro sometimes)

and for the more main stream thrash metal types id say The Haunted is good
Anders Bjorler is usually the lead

anyways to the subject...not really a fan of the nintendo metal of dragonforce
