Their new album will be great. Psychosocial is a great song, and their other single All Hope is Gone is a good one too.

yeah I like it, its like a mix between their old and their new. I guess they are trying to please all generations of their fan base. When I say generations I mean fan generations, first generation slipknot fans usually not fans of vermillion which is like 3rd generation....well I guess thats my way of looking at it. I have most their cd's and you can tell a difference from the first cd to the last one. Which is great why would you want the same damn thing on every cd, if you can't express yourself then what.

Yeh in their first album (ST) and Iowa, I think they had a lot of things on their mind so they put it on a record. Can't really do that with all 4 albums though. I wasn't a huge fan of Vol. 3, I think they were trying to experiment with other genres and sounds and they got feedback from the fans, but I still supported them and it was ok. Hopefully this album kicks ass.

I was in the same boat for a while. Slipknot to me was always (sic), People=shit, etc. From Volume 3 on I just sort of viewed them as a completely different band. You can't deny that the Pulse of the Maggots didn't have it's share of good songs... just not Slipknot'ish songs.
