Death metal... at least it's closer to death metal than metalcore... to my ear anyways... but to be quite honest... there's not really that much of a difference is there?

And Tim Lambesis makes a good point about this: it's less boring than your average metalcore because the lyrics are funny and every song has a pretty good guitar solo... that's more that can be said about similar serious bands...
