CoV Issue 7 Live

These guys have taken far too long to release the "rest"(40-50) of their game that alot of us paid full price for. Wow it's been 7 months, it's finally available, and i almost couldn't care less. Since i've got a couple lvl 40's, i might as well check it out though.

That increased the cap right? I've never played the game, don't think it would appeal to me enough to keep me playing.

If it went back 5 issues, but kept all the new content, I'd come back

i can't play CoV anymore, my expectations for a good mmo are way too high now because of AoC. It would sure be nice to play a worthwhile mmo right now.

Careful. You might be setting yourself up for another disappointment.

As long as they implement all the great design ideas they have, it will be outstanding. Most of the game could totally suck, and it will still surpass anything out there with the "real combat system". Plus, i follow almost all games that come to the mainstream market. There is no mistaking AoC for having unique game features, and the most promising game mechanics in an mmo to date(at least my opinion). They have a huge hit on their hands, it would be pretty hard to screw up such a good foundation.

Well, it still feels like the same game they released almost 3 years ago, CoH. I checked out "Grandville", the new zone, and it wasn't impressive at all. My lvl 40 has SS for a travel power, and Grandville is clearly not ss friendly(it's a vertical style city). The new zone is basically the same design and architecture of two old zones combined(way to go). The villaingroup i'm in is full of lvl 40's, but it looks like evryone quit while waiting for the lvl 40-50 content. In some ways CoH used to be alot of fun, but 3 years later, with very few advancements, it just feels like a shallow mmo.

Hahaha, you read my mind, that's exactly how I feel. I don't think I'll be revisiting COV/COH Universe anytime soon, perhaps once I compeletely forget how things work in the game...in like 10 years or something
