I got somewhere around level 60 got full rune, santa hat, etc. and finally dropped it all after being inactive for 4 years.

I think the game is redicilous. Sure, it's free but it's still crap. I don't see how people with income could play that game for months. It's mainly kids with no jobs on their since they don't have enough money to afford a REAL mmo

its priced the same as any MMO is in the UK so ervin your wrong i played runescape and city of heroes at the same time... i played runescape since the time there was no "members" subscription lol

but runescape is free play and has redicilous crappy graphics. I don't find it at all interesting.

I guess I lied on my app when I said I had never played a mmorpg. I "thought" rs would be a nice, cheap(free) way to get into online interaction and specifically language to communicate. I just never really considered rs a real game.

That experience lasted about 4 months and I then grew weary of the silly quests, bad graphics, and not being able to put more time logged on than all the fourth graders in the Western US.

I just never decided to take it too seriously because I did get what I paid for.

Runescape... I played it, had a level 50-something free account. I think it has alot of players because just about anybody can play it, and its free

I remember playing back in middle school. I got it on the band list at school because I "hacked" half the kids accounts. Caused alot of fights

Now Space Merchant was a hella fun game. I wish I could find another like it.

I played RS, in middle school, didnt really play a lot. I remember the only thing i really enjoyed doing, was fishing, and cooking. I also enjoyed mining and black smithing. Combat level never got above 23, but i was in my 80's for fishing and 60's for cooking, and cant remember smithing and mining.

In all honesty, for fishing, and mining, i had a maco that did it for me, (sorry the intense right click - single click was too much for me to do... for hours, with little productivity)
