Diablo 3

Blizzard didn’t make any allusions about a possible Diablo 3, but this didn’t stop rumors from circulating.

After Bill Roper’s resignation, it looked like there wouldn’t be any sequel to Diablo, even though Blizzard North had started to look for experienced designers.

But after Ropers’s announcement that his new studio will launch Hellgate: London, an employee of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra posted on DiabloII.net information according to which the orchestra is currently working at the soundtrack for Diablo 3.

Actually, the information was received as an e-mail whose content was this: “I am musician in Czech Republic. I play not with one orchestra but with many depending on work. I have recently been to Bratislava in Slovak Republic for recording sessions with local Radio Symphony Orchestra, where we just recorded music for Diablo 3.”

The information might contain some truth, because the same orchestra recorded the music for the add-on of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

Obviously Blizzard didn’t make any comments.

If they really are making a diablo 3, I'm going to shit myself... Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 2:LoD, are probably a few of the BEST games ever made. and in total took up about 5 years of my life...

tbh, idk why blizzard stopped diablo and went with WoW... tbh wow is gay :$ imo of course. Diablo 3 wouldn't make me shit myself like AoC (bear shaman son), but it will make me do something :$!

I read about this a while back. It seemed highly probable.

I'd be excited for D3, and I know Rook sure would.

Well not only that, but they are supposedly making D3 into an MMO. I heard this a few months back, and when I sent an email to Blizz they didn't exactly deny it. I wish I still had the email around. Email them sometime, you may get an answer (that isn't a macro that the GM uses, lawl)

I've Heard information about Diablo 3 for quite sometime, however how long it will take them to create Diablo 3 god knows how long.. Not sure what but they are waiting maybe for the right person XD, samething with FF series everyone is waiting for FF7 remake but its not coming... yet lol all we can do is sit and watch -sigh- lol.

They went with WoW IMO because its more universally acceptabled and people of all ages can play while Diablo had blood, gore, and violence which I bet at least 1/4 of the WoW players could/would not play.

I LOVE the Diablo series and would like nothing more than an mmo.

They are for sure making new entries in both the Diablo and Starcraft franchises. Whenever they are asked, they always reply with something like "We assure our fans we haven't forgotten our Diablo and Starcraft franchises" and the like. It's only a matter of time.

I could care less about Starcraft, as standard RTS games bore me, but a new Diablo would hit the spot.

starcraft is still probably the best RTS out... and i hope the new one will be even better. even tho it prolly wont cuz of different developers...

Hmm, yes starcraft was a good one for sure.. Have you guys heard about the WoW movie Blizzard is thinking about making? lol

Oh and a random fact about D2, did you guys know one of the main developers wanted D2 to be a turn based game but after a vote was turned down XD, lol.
