Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

I bought this a few days ago, it's a pretty fun game. I've only played a single mission so far for the single player aspect, since most of my time is spent online on a server fragging other people. Mwahaha.

Anyone else play this?

I got the demo but i had a bad time getting use to the UI so i just abandoned it

it looks good tho

It reminds me of Rainbow Six Vegas's UI, I'm not having any issues with it. You play RSV? Might be why I'm having an easy time with it.

waiting for the PC version, but after UBI dropped the support for PC vegas, I dont think I'll be buying this one.

If it's like the last GRAW was for PC, and I'm almost certain it is, then you'll be getting a different take on the game with full support. Don't expect it to be like R6 Vegas.

I haven't played this for the PC, I only played this on the Xbox 360. I think it's a good game though, it's fun.. seems like multiplayer is alot more detailed then it was, and also the death ragdoll effects are well done in this one.

Ya.. R6 Vegas is a great game, it's probably still my #1 FPS for this year..

I think the maps and ability to customize the matches is much better than Rainbow Six. The maps especially have a ton of cool variety (from a dam to a flooded village to a plane crash site) and they also have a nice variety, from big sniper type maps to small close quarters maps, and most of the maps have areas that allow any style you're looking for.

However, the core game play is much cleaner and all around better in Rainbow. You're much too "floaty" in your movements, both visually and control wise, in this game. Also, the aiming isn't quite as responsive. The game also lacks a cover system, which I didn't think would be a problem but it feels like you need one in the multiplayer. I say the multiplayer because for some reason, the single player DOES have a cover system and is much better because of this. The multiplayer does not have this feature.

It's still a good game, but a middle ground between Rainbow and GRAW would be outstanding.

Ya, I would say it's between in between R6 Vegas and the original GRAW.
