Has anyone here beaten Freebird? I've come close but I haven't pulled it off yet, and every time I lose 8 minutes in I can just feel the anger and frustration building

the highest rateing i got on freebrid was 4 star so i was happy usuallly my left forarm startes to go nume form play on meduim

still trying to five-star freebird and Trogdor before I got to hard. Freebird is starting to annoy me ><

Trogdor is just ridiculous. They just threw in instruments which don't even match up with the beat, so don't worry if you can't five star it.

after hours and hours of playing ...... i still cant do it. . . .. but i can on 2 player mode if somone plays it on hard and i do expert thats all

after about 2 hrs of only playing freebird the best i can do is 4 stars on hard, i cant begin to fathom it on expert

I played this at a friends house this weekend and man do I suck!

Heh. I remember the first time I played Freebird and they threw out 3 note chords to me at once. It was a shocker coming off of playing GH1. Good times...good times.

Keep practicing and if you need to on the fast sections, take it to the practice area and slow it down. Also learn how to do pull ons/offs. It'll get easier the more you play it...unless you just naturally suck.

It sounds cool, don't get me wrong, but I was disappointed that the drum controller isn't more than just a drum pad. Either way, it'll still be awesome.

Note that it has extra buttons for the new game controls. It looks really solid, more like a real guitar, which is awesome. There's a link in that article to that info that was released last week.
