Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (PC)
not sure if there are any other Ghost Recon Fans out there, but they just released the demo for the PC version of GRAW. I played the 360 version of it, but FPS are never that good on consoles (with one exception, HALO). All in all I thought it was decent on the 360, but now I can rule the streets of New Mexico with my squad. Anyone interested in joining me?
You can grab the demo through Gamespot, or Fileplanet (Requires a subscription if you don't wanna wait in line) |

If anyone is familiar with the 360 version of GRAW, let me tell you the PC version is quite different and makes alot of cool changes. The tactical map is back with waypoints and everything, but it's even improved from previous GR's. I'll tell you how good the actual demo is once its finished downloading, but it just looks awesome.

I'm enjoying the demo. The new tactical map adds alot to the game. Plus it is much improved from how it was in the original GR.
There's a new multiplayer preview up on IGN: http://pc.ign.com/articles/703/703382p1.html Full campaign 4 player Co-op and a Battlefield style zones mode. Looks fun. |

Yeah the one thing I didnt like is that the game isnt optimized to run that well. I have a good gaming rig, and throwing everything on full gives me like 10 FPS (I will not turn it down because I shouldn't have to...lol) Other games like Oblivion look spectacular, and aren't resource intensive like GRAW.

I didnt see anyway to play multi-player on the demo other than if your part of a lan. There is no internet option. The game is alright. I dont have any probs running it on highest settings, but i just built a new top of the line comp. I wasnt impressed with the teammate AI. I tell them to cover from behind a dumpster and they end up standing beside the dumpster instead of taking cover behind it. That seems to happen alot in this game. Im not too impressed with the controls of the game either. But I do have to say that the graphics are decent and gameplay is challenging (not sure if that s due to the controls) and fun. I like the choice of weapons they give and the mods that you can attach to them. I would like to see more choices of weapons though in future patches or expansions.
