I just realised that we've no topic for this game. While I do not possess it, I was thinking about it. So, any thoughts on it?

I really like it. If you're a fan of RPGs you probably want to pick it up. Have to get ready for work right now, but I'll talk more about it later.

Well from what ive heard from chatting with Pedro this game is top notch (and it better be its been in development for ages

) Im mos def gonna pick it up when my new pc comes in.

If you like old style RPG, where there's no good or evil, just action and reaction, everything you do will change the enviroment and npc's views of you, different paths to take, factions, choices...etc...

Fighting is superb and it gets better as you connect combos and prolong them as you train them, don't expect a buttom spam, you have to switch weapons depending if you're fighting humans or monsters, and you gotta change stances depending on the opponent.

The game is so alive, that if you have sex with every skirt that crosses your path (no it's not a sex game, but the Witcher doesn't believe in selibacy and you won't see anything anyway) then later on you can hear some npc's shout "It's a Witcher, hide your women!"

Lols u didnt mention that earlier, just that makes the game worthwile playing XD Anyways how is the multiplayer?

EDIT: Two quick questions. About how long is this game, and what's the replay value? I've read on GameFAQs that it's only 21 hours and then I've read it's 100 hours if you do everything (perhaps by 100 they mean multiple playthroughs?) and I've heard replay rocks and replay sucks.

I recently started playing the game. At first the controllers were clunky but after the first 30 minutes or so I adjusted. On full settings the graphics are great and helps to make the game immersive. My character will not be a caster for a change; instead a warrior with magic for defensive purposes. I'll post again when or if I beat the game.

Well you can't be a "caster" in the Witcher, you're always melee but you do gotta work on getting that lachemy up, it's what'll keep you alive later on, plus those Cat's Eyes are the only way to navigate a crypt.
