Lost Odyssey!!! for the Xbox 360

Hey everyone saw the promotion for this game of the tv and it really intrigued me. Comes out 2/12/08 just for the xbox 360 i think. At first glance to me, it looked very much like a hack and slash but after watching the trailer (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/l/lostodyssey/) it looks similar to the final fantasy saga (which i am a huge fan of). I am really thinking about buying it. What do you guys think? Is it worth the $60?

This looks pretty good, but it seems like a title with little hours of gameplay.

Has anyone bought this yet? I'm probably going to pick it up this weekend, but I'd like to get an idea of what you guys think, if any of you have played it.

I got it, it's very much like a FF game. (Which for me I love) It looks real nice, and my 1st 15min of the game was pretty exciting. Just got home and settled in from work. So as of right now I barely got to play today before going to work, I'll make sure to pop back in a give more feedback after I play all night.

20 hours in, still on the 1st disk.... Um, This game is F'ING great!!!! I really love it. The game is just like a FF game and I mean JUST like FF. So much like it I'm wondering if square soft will sue Microsoft studios over it. (Most likely not, just making the point)

Strangely enough the huge stand out to me in this game is that the story is very captivating. Not to mention this game has some of the best voice over talent combo'd with cinematic physical mannerisms and facial expressions I have ever seen In a game title. That has me very attached to the characters in this game. Another funny thing that stands out is how oblivious it is that this game was written by Americans as to Japanese... It's hard to explain but I'm sure you follow what I'm saying. It's not cheesy basically lol! Some of the content had me surprised that the game wasn't given a "M" rating. I mean I had to drag my drunken black mage away from 3 hookers prior to him joining my group... Heh

Yeah so, play this game, I think most will really enjoy it. If you call yourself a FF fan then this is a must play/buy/rent/borrow from a buddy game.
