If your house has a wireles router then you have wi-fi, if all you have is wired then yer screwed
(look for a box with an antenna or two near the cable/dsl modem)If you do then ask whoever installed it or your parents/family to give you the wireless key, when you go into the Wii setup and tell it to detect the wi-fi, it will detect it but will require that key. You input it in and it should work unless you got the wrong key ![]()

yeah you can buy a little cable that will let you use cat 5...too bad they couldnt just throw in a port anyway like the ps3...but at least you dont have to buy a 100$ adapter for wireless like X360 or the old low end crap gen 1 ps3s

If you have a router(like I do) wireless play is available for free. If not, then the adapter is for you. Just look up the code for it(usually on the back or side of the router) and place it in to the password section after you go into the Wii options menu under online.
