Hmmm, I was gonna send 15 swordsmen and 10 archers though you've got more resources than me, but it looks like they won't get there for another 11 days...

Yeah, I don't think my small backup will matter any 11 days from now.

However, if you crank out defensive troops, your opponent will probably go looking for easier prey. All they can do is take your resources until they get a noble, which is basically after they've maxed out their whole town.

I'll be gone all day tomorrow so I've been using the extra resources to make spearmen whenever I have the chance. My resources will pile up tomorrow while I'm at work, and then I'll start upgrading all my structures again. Hope that deters people from attacking me straight away.

All right, I'm in now. By the way, how do the bonus villages work exactly? I saw that there were two near me that were abandoned, so I sent one spearman each to take them. One was 10% to clay production and the other 10% to iron production.

Haven't tried since there are no bonus villages close to my tribe but to take over tribes you need Noblemen, think we're all still far from that.

Well, apparently I failed to take them since they are still abandoned and my troops are gone.

Yea u always lose one when attacking an abandoned one, u just loot resources untill u have a noble tho

Sooooo, can you capture an abandoned one? And, if so, how? Do you have to send more than one since you always lose at least one soldier when attacking? Did I take some resources when I attacked even though I lost my spearman? Please elaborate.
