Seems like even with 530 wood/clay and 390 iron an hour, I still have a lot more iron and always lacking clay.

EDIT: Btw on the settings link, on the left side there's a Delete Account option if you want to destroy your town so that person can't sack your town till it turns barbarian.

I'm usually lacking wood, but it seems like I always have too much iron (since I stopped my military push). The market is a great way to turn your too-much resource into your not-enough resource. I find I can regularly trade out for equivalent amounts of whatever I need in exchange for whatever I have too much of.

Yea keep your iron 2-3 levels below your timber and clay and normally I have my timber leading on clay by a level or 2 and I have little waste, if I have any extra iron I just get rid of it on the market

Yeah think I can't call them back without Premium account, it's ok for my troops, I can make prolly 5x more what I sent by the time they get there then come back lol

My village as of the end of day 2. Displaying in classical view as I think it is easier to see the values. Initiating wall level 3 upgrade before calling it a night. So far I seem to be doing O.K.

I guess I am fortunate in my location. I am currently the second highest ranked village of the 21 on my immediate vicinity map. The only village ranked higher than mine is diagonally adjacent and ranked 266 to my 210. The next closest is a couple of villages away and ranked 202.

I should at least have a fighting chance of surviving and thriving in my immediate locale. Just glad I did not get dropped right next to a much higher level village and get crushed as ununseptium encountered.



Giving a donut to the first responder who can name the inspiration for village/paladin without resorting to Google/Web. This one is easy as it is a SF literary classic.

A full dozen to the first responder who can name the inspiration for my initial WAR names of Locnar, Den, & Taarna listed in the WAR character name thread.

Again, no fair using Google/Web. This one is a bit more esoteric, but anyone near my age (i.e. old as dirt) should be familiar with the source.

Wish me luck. I just sent out my first raid on an unoccupied village. 20 Spears, 20 Swords and a Paladin. I'm hoping to get the Paladin some experiences so he can discover some weapons.

I find that sending swordsmen to raid usually isn't worthwhile unless I'm sending them just before bed or work because they slow down the raiding party significantly and really don't carry much. Spears and axes are the way to go for raiding at lower tiers.

I'm hoping to put together a force of light horsemen soon though, they haul ass and carry a ton. My neighbors aren't really big enough to raid with much though, I'm hoping they'll go barbarian soon (because barbarians keep building).
