Wii Fit

So, I'm thinking about picking one of these up for my little brother (and hey, I gotta admit looks fun). Any input on if this has enough lasting power for a little kid or should I just buy him another transformers/ hot wheels game?
Oh and, yet another reason to buy a wii fit:

There was an article that came out about it where the bmi could be missrepresented with children. Basically at the beginning it asks you for things and then gives you your physical position. I dont need something to tell me im overweight lol

Well i got it and i must say it is fun but it has far to few mini-games, and it is a really weak workout. To be fair there are some rumors that there will be more games in the future, but i haven't heard anything official. But if you want your brother to get better balancing abilities and posture, this will probably help him a lot.

And besides, who doesn't like a talking bathroom weight that yells at you for eating too much pizza?

There's actually a snowboarding game that uses the wii fit as a board.

I'm waiting for my local walmart to get a new batch, they flew the first day.

I was lucky to find one, had to buy one for my mom for a late mothers day present.

I think its pretty cool. I'm enjoying mine. I would say you will need a yoga pad to do some of the strenght training exercises.

rockband is comin out for wii if it hasn't already >.>

If people are playing it for fun that's one thing, but exercise is best done away from the front of a television imo. DDR did get people to lose weight though... who knows?
