Classic VS. New Age Games

It seems that arcade classics are making a comeback. I have seen a lot of my friends with at least a dozen arcade games on their 360 dashboard. I personally like new games better, but maybe you have just had enough of Halo 3, or have competed every Act of Diablo 2 four times. Isn't it just nice to sit down and play Pacman or Galaga? What do u guys think?

Well you gotta add more options, for some classic games are not arcade games, for the ppl that have been computer junkies from the start, classic games would be might and magic, king quest, space quest, quest for glory, larry, ultima, monkey island..etc...

Personally I like classic more but nothing with arcade, so I can't vote.

I loved the old games, don't get me wrong...
But it just can't compete with modern-day gaming.
Gaming and it's rapid advancement really is a facet of technological evolution, which absolutely astounds me in all ways.

Speaking of which, anyone know where i can get Kings quest V?

I mean i downloaded it before, but i just cant seem to get it to work..

Will it not work on windows xp or something?

Well older games were more about the fun, the inmersion in the storyline and the games were longer when it came to play time, mostly due to puzzles and riddles that made the games challenging.

Newer games look better, sound better, move better, some but not all have great storyline, but everything else becomes repetitive and straight forward, not to mention lack of challenge.

You'll probably need Dosbox if you can't build an old dos machine.
