There's alot of negativity about the Wii in this thread, and it's undeserved.

The Wii is a fantastic, innovative, casual gaming, entertainment console. If you wanted hardcore games with amazing graphics, you should buy a different console.

It has never tried to advertise anything different and it was exactly the same with the gamecube. They're both family consoles and I applaud any games manufacturer that gives non-gamers an interest and the ability the pick it up and play with it for the first time with no prior knowledge.

I agree wholeheartedly. If you want the most cutting-edge console graphics, then go with one of the other two systems. Don't expect the Wii to be something it was never intended to be, a hardcore gaming powerhouse. Because it was designed with the more casual crowd in mind, I have been able to play with friends and family members who would otherwise not touch a video game system.

It is simply a different style of gaming, and it should not be knocked because of it. If it's not your cuppa tea, then just play something else.

This is why I have a 360 and will soon have a PS3. I like being able to play whatever game that comes out and not cry over a certain system's lack of software. If the Wii has nothing, then I am sure the 360 and the PS3 will.

Besides, I'll still have Fable 2 and WAR to look forward to.

As for the E3: Nintendo completely abandoned their hardcore gamers. They are now all about Nintendogs and attracting new gamers to their system, i.e. the perfect thing to play while completely shitfaced or if you are 7 yrs old.

It only going to come out on xbox 360 in us and Europe, mainly because the fact that barley anyone in japan has an xbox. So, at least they have an upper hand in japan. However, they need to keep a better of their titles;lost to many exclusives in the past.

the only use for a wii is the internet and thats crap you can only watch youtube videos and you cant go on a myspace page without it overloading i used to play dysprosiums all the time then i realized i can go outside to play sports

I use my PC for any single player games/mmo's and the Wii for when people come over want to relax, play a bit and drink booze. Its been working well so far. The Wii is meant to satisfy different needs then the 360/PS3 and it does it pretty well.

I go upstairs drink beer and play Mario Kart with the neighbor. I have fun with it... Yet MS and Sony have some HUGE titles about to drop.
