Mirror's Edge - The true freeruning action game.

Yeah this game is coming out sometime this year I believe. Anyway the story is something along the lines of "its a Authoritarian government and when people need info sent, they give it to special runners that evade cops and such by any means, then something happens involving your sister and the game starts."

Anyways, the entire game is all about free running and such and looks sick. If you liked Assassins Creed AT ALL, you seriously gotta check this out.

This video is all in game footage, which makes it even more amazing, I can't really explain it.

Hm, idk just seems like im the only one that thinks this game looks bad. U get shot at and u never get hit? shouldn't be that hard, to hit someone that runs in front of you. like some of its kinda kool, like climbing on all stuff. but i still think it looks like a bad game.

The dev was playing god-mode in the vid btw...

Anyways, Sometimes I get the urge and play a round of assassins creed if just to mow down gaurds and go where ever I want so it seems cool to me.

Yeah Robin, that was god mode. Every article I have read has stated you do not wear armor, if you get shot you will die, probably not once but about 2 or 3. So you gotta use the environment to get close enough to disarm/kill them without them shooting you.

I'm still on the ropes about this one. Granted, the mechanics are impressive, but only when perceived as an improvement of past conceptions (Assassin's). Additionally, I'm afraid of this game transforming into a title that is lauded only for its technical prowress and not for its story and content, as a well constructed game should have (remember Crysis?).

the graphics for mirrors edge are really nice though. it looks pretty cool though. i probably wont get it though.
