Talk about be lucky and sucky

Went to play my 360 today and blamm red ring of death. Well I say a few curse words then go to the Xbox website to put in my repair order. Login select my 360 and what do I see my warranty expires 8/4/08 talk about being lucky that it went out today and not in 5 days ugh. Well now all I can do is wait on WAR *sigh*

Hmm. I've had some of my friends complain about that red ring, but why exactly does it happen? Is it some glitch? Does something inside melt and break?

I hear that, mine got the red ring not to long ago. When did you buy yours? i got mine when it first came out so i guessing the warranty ended by now.

I bought it back last year but it was built in 06 so I guess that microsoft goes by the built date not the date it was bought dang nazis

That happened to be a while back, but I didn't have a warranty on it. They still replaced it free of charge because it was a known problem that was due to something they did not me(atleast that's what they said). They even threw in some xbox live time lol. I think it took like a week and a half to get mine back.

Ya, it doesn't take to long to get it back. I've had red rings of death twice now! but now i got two 360's so now i got a back up =) lol.

You should probably try towel wrapping it to supercharge it till you get it replaced.
