Help. Crysis?

So I'm buying a graphics card and was lookin at um and I found one but then I found the same card with a free copy of Crysis and to my dis tasteful lolz it costs $20.00 more >=\ .

So my question is, is it worth $20.00?

I heard you need a comp made out of a god to run Crysis at full effects and such. Imo, it will be a good gauge for your newer card.

Yeah its been adopted as like a bench mark. "IF YOU CAN RUN CRYSIS YOUR COOL AND HAVE A UBER MACHINE".

But what do you guys think about the game?

ahhhhhhhhhh its fun but unless your machine got the stuff i say stay the F away from that game lol.

Well I have a Athlon 4000+ 2GB RAM XP and the card is a 8800GT.

So would that run it? I have seen people run it on high with less.

I think it would give me something to do at leased.

what you have there should run it. On high? yea probably. run it well on high? probably for a good portion of the game.

I ran it flawlessly for the first 85% of the game. The last part, between lots of fast movement/fire/smoke effects, I lagged quite a bit running with dual 512mb 8800GTs and my processor eludes me at the moment (cant look it up cause i gotta go to work 5 minutes ago), Though I blame it on only having 2 gigs of RAM.

Game wise - yea. its godly. In more ways than one.

i read somewhere it wasnt coded properly meaning it ran bad on some high end machines as well. just in certain spots. i read it at another forums site i go to. next installment suppose to be much better.

I pass by at least three bars in everything, my CPU and disk space are 4 bars(max for the test). I guess my machine was made by a god, or a titan, hmmm.

EDIT: Oh right, my machine has a 8800GT, AMD quad core phenom, and 3 gb's of RAM. Hope that helped at all.
