East RPGs vs West RPGs

I am just wondering what you guys think?

Well, I feel that West is WAY better, but that is just because the only Eastern Rpgs I have played have been Japanese. I don't like the style Japanese put out in games (or at least RPGs). Also, Yahtzee has sort of influenced me, I always disliked them, but even more now that I have watched Yahtzee's reviews.

O shit we're West? How did i mess that up lol. But yea I prefer Western RPG's because Final Fantasy dosnt have anything on KOTOR, Mass Effect, and NWN

Wow I am a minority :P
This probably would explain why I have met so many other people who like RPGs, but are so completely different in their tastes

Personally, I would exchange a good storyline for anything

East RPGs ftw

I thought Kotor and Mass Effect both had really good stories. I'm going to pick on final fantasy because that's proply one of the most well known games. I think "few" final fantasy games had a good story. But that is just me, i liked FF8 by far the best, but FF7 was good to.

But I'm a star wars fan =) lol. So I enjoyed kotor a lot.
