I made this picture for a contest what do you think?
And do you think it stands better with or without text?

With text...

Only thing is the alcohol has the little gap in the middle other than that it looks good. It sends the message.

looks great, couple of suggestions though...

It took me a while to figure out that the "alcohol" was the blade of the scythe. Perhaps you could make that a little more clear...along the same lines, it took me a while to realize the reaper was holding the car in his other hand...make it look more like a shadowy hand perhaps?

Other than that, its awesome...i vote w/ text

I love it, but like others have said not to crazy about the alcohol on the blade.
Maybe use a different more grungy font so it fits better with the rest of the image.
And the fact that it's not all together kinda bugs me subconsciously.

Really nice work, I would also vote for the text. It also took me to read Fluffy's post that the reaper was holding the car, once i understood that the image made a lot more sense. I would definitely try and make the scythe stand out some more as well as accentuate the reaper holding the car.
