Thats what I think too but at this point in time were going to be on a RvR server because thats what the majority wants... Which is fine with me... At least once I hit 40 :]

Open RvR simply expands the RvR area to the entire zone, thereby diffusing the combatants into a larger area and reducing the opportunity for epic battles. Also allows for ganking.
I agree 100% with this. I also strongly feel that open rvr servers will most certainly attract the "loser" class of player, more interested in griefing than epic battle like that one. Good vid link, can't wait!

Open RvR all the way. There is no point playing in a PvP-based game with "safe" zones. The concepts are an oxymoron.

PvP or PvE, nothing in between, that is certainly the way I prefer it.

And I disagree with the poster above. This will not attract the "loser" player, but rather, attract the player who enjoys the challenge of fighting other players at every opportunity as opposed to mutually agreed upon fights (bleh). Sure, you will have your dickwads, but hey, they become an important element in the game. Nothing more satisfying than pushing these guys under your boot.
